IN PERSON: Intro to Dance and Ballet
see all reviewsWas very fast paced considering it is meant to be a beginner class. I did dance as a kid so I had some basis for what to do, but she didn’t even talk about foot or arm position or proper posture until I asked if I was in the wrong level. After checking she told me some people stay in that class for roughly 9 months before progressing to beginner, so keep that in mind.

see all reviewsMackenzie was so great. She was very thorough with the instructions and demos. With my recent injury, she provided modifications throughout it the class for me and continually checked in. The classes at the circus center all seem to be fairly small, which makes it super easy to get feedback. Learned some good cues and exercises for increasing my mobility. Would recommend!

see all reviewsOlga’s classes are great. Very technique and detail oriented. I’ve taken a few pole classes before, but her specific technique instructions are so good. It’s a very small class too, so you get lots of personal attention and corrections on how to do it better. She also gave me and others different things to work on based on our skill levels. Highly recommended!

see all reviewsThis class is really technique and skills focused. I’ve been doing yoga for years, but this class helped me refocus my positions and skill. If you’re new to the class, like I was, you’ll get lots of individualized attention. I left feeling more flexible, but it was definitely more of a workout than I was going for (I was hoping for a relaxing stretch) and more instruction than I anticipated.
