see all reviewsSuzanne is amazing. One of the best yoga classes I have taken. A wonderful mix of athletic vinyasa with slow, thoughtful time spent in challenging hatha poses. My favorite form of yoga is Ashtanga and this class had a lot of elements that reminded me of what I love about Ashtanga. I enjoy power yoga and many American interpretations of yoga but this was “real” yoga.

see all reviewsI always appreciate Carolyn’s heart shares. Today the theme was observing the monkey mind…the vritti as in yogas chitta vritti nirodh. Today it started out slow, but with a purpose to observe the mind. I would have preferred a full on strong flow but I understood the theme and purpose so I went with it. Towards the middle of class we got into more of what I’m accustomed to in her classes - longer holds at first sequence and then repeating the sequence breath to breath. It was more of a chillaxing flow at first today put together by the meaningful heart share.

The focus was on listening to your body and turning inwards, rather than comparing your practice to others -- which I really appreciated. It was truly an all-levels class, and as someone who's done yoga before but is new to wall yoga, I really enjoyed the class! It felt great to be upside down.
