    Everyone at the studio was super welcoming and I really appreciated the time they took to show me around. The instructor had a great energy, really clear cues, and the class felt like the right level of challenging. Similar to some other reviews, I was surprised to wear sneakers on the mat and not grippy socks (felt weird wearing outdoor shoes!) and the mats felt a little close together. Overall though, the studio was really pretty (loved the colored lights!) and I got a great workout!

    Okay wow I loved this class. As someone who does distance racing, it’s so nice to balance all that cardio with traditional strength training. And that’s exactly what Liftonic offers. No hidden cardio bursts (we did do one “conditioning” exercise but it was only for a minute and focused on single-leg activation so I didn’t mind). Great instructor. Kind, funny, easy to follow.     I thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.
