If you go a bit early she can walk you through the structure before you start and she also shares alternatives for each exercise. The front desk staff are also very friendly. For this class you’re able to go at your pace within the time allotted for each exercise which makes it great for beginners as you have time to get the hang of it. I will definitely go back.

Even though I was more than twice the age of most of the attendees, I was able to get through the class by using lighter weights, etc. But I was really wiped out afterwards - in a good way - that made clear how fit I'd get if I went regularly. It's an incredible workout.

Loved the playlist too - it really helped you push when you couldn't take anymore...which was often 😂 This class is brutal! But that's what Physique 57 is. I honestly think it's one of the hardest workouts out there. I'm anticipated being sore for a few days to come...the good sore. Will be back for her class again soon!

see all reviewsThe Thursday class is a cardio workout of 3 groups of exercises. Each exercise has 3 movements of a total 24 sets. 20 seconds workout and 10 second rest. Eli the instructor gave very clear instructions and showed demos at the beginning of the class. As it’s my first time trying the class, he paired me with a regular class taker, which also helped a lot. Eli also checked on people to help them with forms. Size of the class is not too big nor too small. That’s a plus because people need to move around stations. I had a great time and felt accomplished after the class. The class is well organized and people are very friendly. I highly recommend it

I kept taking this class because Leah is hands down one of the most detail oriented and fun instructors I've encountered :). She is super technical and will kick your butt, but she's also really fun and a great person! The coaches help with form which is nice, there are 3 sets of 45 sec blocks with 15 sec breaks after which you move onto the next set of exercise. I can see this being addictive but you definitely need to build upto that level. I was exhausted by the end of it, overall a good challenging workout. Might try a few more classes and see how I feel about this being the studio for me.
