Yoga Strength Conditioning with Weights (45-min)
see all reviewsI enjoyed this class! Challenging but I felt stronger after. Also went by quick, which I like. Apparently this instructor was subbing for the usual instructor for this class but it was fab. Not a heated class but no AC so it was definitely hot in there! Would opt for shorts/ something breezier.

see all reviewsShe did a great job at verbally and visually explaining the positions. I have been to beginner classes at other studios and sometimes they move too fast without explaining positions as if you’re supposed to know the terminology or learn it in one day. Would take other classes with her when I am ready to do more yoga/have time.

see all reviewsGreat instructor! I Like bar method a lot but will never be a fan of a carpeted studio. Even grip socks won’t create a solid foundation against carpet when in a plank, I find myself sliding around. At least the bar method is the best carpeted barre class I’ve found! I have been taking Pilates mat and reformer on and off for >30 years but I have never seen the toys that were featured in this class. A kind of missile with handgrips which challenges your balance and core and TRX were among my favorites. The teacher was chill and magnetic and made helpful corrections in the class. Recommend!

see all reviewsGreat class! I really felt the burn as someone who has been working out for years, but the class was still adaptable for beginners. One suggestion I have for this studio is to mic up the teacher, he was giving instructions at a volume totally appropriate for mat Pilates (where you don’t want to be yelled at like a bootcamp class) but even though the music wasn’t loud either, the acoustics in the room didn’t really allow me to hear him when he was on the opposite side. I messed up the first leg of the glute series because I couldn’t really hear him. I would still come back because the class was effective and well thought out.

see all reviewsMarin was great, such a good class! However, the second part of class should have been in the middle of the room, not by the exit, since we were given a choice to stay or go. As I was trying to clean up my mat and props to leave, a blonde lady (perhaps the owner) abruptly said to leave everything as is and just go, since I was “such a distraction.” Left a bad taste in my mouth and was not a nice way to end the class.
