She was so accommodating and transparent about the situation but still held the class for those wanting to participate. She held the class in the dark, with no music, and managed to made everyone comfortable and adjusted her set plan on the fly to keep safety in mind. I was new to Pilates and her and the regulars at this studio were the best, I felt so comfortable.

Bikram is big on balance so come prepared to work on that but Dan has great strategies to keep you upright. Also the studio entrance is on the back side of the building, and the door opens 10 minutes till class.

She was so sweet and friendly and really took her time breaking down the specific dance moves which was much needed for someone like me who doesn’t pick up the moves first time around. I wish the class was two hours long because class ended just as we got the hang of it! She teaches different styles and this time we learned a Kuwaiti version. I wore workout clothes and yoga socks but next time I’ll bring a scarf to wrap around my hips and maybe some ballet shoes without the grip on the bottom like my socks had.
