As someone newer to yoga, I love that the lights are down low throughout the class. It is a very welcoming environment and I never feel out of place. I’ve experienced my fair share of good and bad Zumba instructors, and Chela definitely embodies all of the good. Really liked this class. Lots of space and natural light in the fitness room. I’ve done Zumba many times before so it wasn’t too hard to follow along with minimal instructor cues. Zumba is all about moving and having fun so there’s no worry about getting all the moves right. Good music and energy all around.

I felt dizzy jumping on the small trampoline and found it difficult to find my balance. I would recommend trying one of their classes with less bounce time if you’re new. They offer modifications off the trampoline if you’d prefer.

Cons: the kettlebell options were limited (nothing lighter than 10lbs for straight-arm front raises); the training took place in the lower level of the studio which is like a dark dungeon, super depressing after a whole workday indoors. Don’t know why we didn’t use the upper level which has a wall of windows for natural light.
