    Such a beautiful, spotless and spacious studio! On the corner with a sweeping view of the park. This instructor is soft spoken and teaches in a more classical, slower pace. Class was good but I prefer a more upbeat energizing style. However she was very clear and demonstrated most exercises so you always knew exactly what to do.

    Excellent instructor! I’ve been practicing yoga for years and I felt challenged. It’s hard to meet the needs of a newbie and seasoned yogi but he did a pretty good job.     Honestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

    This studio has become a new favorite of mine.. Chuck was really incredible. While the workout was really fast-paced and intense, he was really great with managing the entire class, constantly giving feedback, encouragement and corrections, with options to modify at every step. With a class of a lot of beginners (including myself), his patience and encouragement were so energizing. I also loved that he gave feedback to each individual off-mic, and really gave everyone personal attention in that way. Amazing class!!

Front desk staff was super nice and helpful, and even cheerful which was extra noticeable bc it was snowstorm and they were right by the door. We would bike anywhere from 40 seconds-3 min, and then go to the floor doing 4 workouts, 40 seconds each, 4 times through.     I took classes in their formal space and wow, what an upgrade! The new space is a pilates haven. It’s cozy, pristine & magical. Dustin taught the class - he was welcoming and superb. This is a classical pilates studio & class consisted of slow & controlled movements that strengthened and lengthened my core, arms & spine. 21 Pilates is not another superficial workout. It educates you by building solid-core movement patterns, foundational strength & stability. Foundational strength is a prerequisite for any and most physical skill-set. Once you learn how to move your body effectively & efficiently, you’ll be able to continue to engage in a variety of dynamic & functional movement patterns into your golden years sans pain.
