see all reviewsClass was a super challenging in an achievable way, I definitely think this would have been hard to follow if you’ve never taken a mega former fast paced class. The studio has an unusual layout, it was my first time and had to ask a couple times to understand where things were (changing rooms, the actual studio etc.) would recommend they give a more thorough overview of the studio layout/amenities for first timers.

The stretching was perfect and I like that she really focused on long holds, so many instructors don’t understand the importance of stretching to make it actually impactful.

This specific class I took with her seemed to focus a lot on legs, which is fine, but I just wish I knew that before so I could prepare accordingly and adjust my non-Pilates workouts for the week to accommodate. For example if the class name mentioned something along the lines of “Pilates reformer intermediate leg day”. Either way Lily is so nice and I’d take her class again!

As a sort of advanced beginner have taken classes at several of the popular spots: from Integral and Iyengar to hot yoga at CorePower, Y7, Fierce Grace, and the yoga inspired class at Physique 57 to great effect, however, if I could chose only one or two—conbody yoga is a keeper and refreshing upstart in the yoga community. Two thumbs up, way up!!

Bonnie was very friendly and approachable upon my arrival and during the entire class (there was 5 of us) I felt very supported, she corrected me a few times and was very attentive to everybody. It’s a small class (6 max) which is great. Classroom is spotless, equipment is new. I came out sweaty and happy. 10/10 Will be returning :)
