Good class but too loud! I usually wear earplugs to Pure Barre classes here, but have an ear infection so asked the instructor to keep the music at a moderate level. Since I can’t wear earplugs, and have sensitive ears due to the infection, the pain from the instruction was too much and I had to leave class half way through.

I really loved this class! It’s restorative practice, and Earleen did such a lovely job leading us in mindfulness and I left with a fresh sense of gratitude and grounded-ness. I don’t love the required $5 mat fee, I’d rather give up more cp credits, but the great class made up for it. They have the kind of mats that are sort of grippy (and are pre-set for class) which I’m sure is fab for pilates/etc, but for this type of gentler practice I’d bring my own mat to lay on top since there’s a lot of skin contact & laying your face close to the mat:)

Using the MOTR for a full-body workout and the Bhodi suspension system for core strength and balance challenges, this class keeps me on my toes—literally! Great bikram class! I think some first timers might not quite understand what they are getting themselves into. “Hot yoga” at bode (and usually at other places) means bikram. If you’ve never done bikram before, I would personally recommend someone try a 60 minute class first (instead of say a 75 or 90 minute class). Also, there’s not a ton of instruction at bode.
