How it works

About this class

Practiced in a warm room (85 degrees). Centered on the study and practice the Yoga of the physical body, or Asana, the third limb of Yoga, this practice brings the students through a sequence that will strengthen the body and mind while work on alignment and fine tuning the postures. We also explore the purpose of each posture in the Pancha Kosha (the 5 bodies of a human being) so that we can develop a full understanding of each Asana and its benefits to the physical, mental and emotional bodies. Sometimes this practice will have a flow to it, others we will work without flow at the teacher’s discretion. Great for all levels looking to strengthen their Asana practice and improve their Vinyasa practice.

Hatha Yoga with Gary
Guest teacher with a unique flow for class. Did some interesting poses (like fish and dolphin). Overall fun to try a different style of yoga.
Hatha Yoga with Gary
Strong class where you hold the poses for longer. Liked that the instructor focused on poses to help the muscles most affected by sitting all day.
Hatha Yoga
Small studio that allows for individual attention.
Hatha Yoga with Kim
Not what I thought it would be, but I feel good!
Hatha Yoga with Gary
Great for stretching and recentering.
Hatha Yoga with Kim
Wish we weren't doing exercises laying on the mat for so long. I was getting really sleepy.
Response from the studio:
Not all Yoga practices can suit the likes and dislikes of every student. Each practice is at the discretion of the teaching team and students are bound to like some and not like others. The practices that we do lying on the floor are to strengthen and harmonize the body from our culture of "sitting".

Gary & Kim are great teachers. Very intentional class. Gary taught me a lot!

This Hatha class was exactly what I was looking for. Really educational and perfect to slow it down to work on form.
