How it works

About this class

This ease-ful class takes a Yin-based approach, using gravity and props to hold poses. This allows students to release fascia, tendons, ligaments and joints, leading to a longer-lasting flexibility within the body and the opportunity to cultivate a quieter, contemplative practice. Suitable for all levels.

Best instructor I have had in DC
Restorative Yoga
I loved how she explained the purpose and benefits of each pose. We did a couple of great yin postures as well.

I love this class so much!
Restorative Yoga with Michael
Great for relaxing/ meditating, not great if youre looking for a workout!
Restorative Yoga with Michael
AMAZING! Probably the best restorative class I have ever been to.
Restorative Yoga with Michael
This class was more meditation than yoga, but I did feel restored
Restorative Yoga with Sonja
I was disappointed that the instructor locked the door prior to the advertised start time so that I was not permitted to join the class even when I arrived on time (down to the minute!) Please be aware of this policy when booking classes with this studio. They are inflexible on the issue and it's a huge turn off. People that go out of their way to attend classes here should not be turned away if they arrive at 8:30 on the dot and the class starts at that time.
Restorative Yoga with Jeanette
Jeanette was awesome. This class was very relaxing and meditative. Very gentle stretches and calming visualization.
Restorative Yoga with Erika
That class was like taking a warm bath! So relaxing.
Restorative Yoga with Erika
Very relaxing, but much more of a meditation class than a yoga class. It was very pleasant but not at all challenging.
