Your-Movement offers busy New Yorkers a refuge to escape, relax, and achieve personal goals of mind and body. We provide a variety of Yoga classes, and classes to challenge your body like Total Cardio and Mat Pilates. Small class sizes provide personalized one-on-one attention, ensuring you’re always doing the correct movements for the best results

How to prepare

Bring your own mat, if you have one! If you don't-- no worries, you'll be able to rent on for $2 if you need it for the yoga, pilates, or toning/total cardio classes. Wear comfortable clothes, but no shoes are required. Bring water and a towel if you need one, or else you can also buy water for $1 at the studio.

How to get there

The studio is located on 46th street between 5-6 ave.

Amazing class
Yoga/Pilates with Ekaterina
Interesting class. I've heard of turning your legs out during Pilates but this instructor had us turn our legs in (like pigeon toed style) at some points. Felt weird so I didn't do that. Wasn't a fan of the country music playing on her phone and it seemed like she wasn't sure what to do next. My abs were sore though!

Core Yoga with Ekaterina
The teacher was really sweet and understanding but this was really a pilates class with a few asanas mixed in. I guess that's what 'Core Yoga' is? I also felt ill throughout the whole thing so perhaps that colored my experience. I tend to do yoga for the spiritual aspect of it and of course to me the physical aligns with that, getting into your body is a spiritual act- and so when it's turned into a means of really just working out physically I am a little disappointed. It was also hot in the studio. All in all, Ekaterina was a great teacher.

Not as challenging as I'd hoped. Could be more motivating.

Great for beginners. Very friendly teacher who also knows how to push each student. Would come again!

Great instructor! Very helpful with positions to make sure exercises are done properly.
