I liked that Mariela gave a really thorough intro/demo to the circuits before we did anything, and she had an assistant in the room to guide with form/timings/etc. I would’ve liked a bit more help in terms of modifications, as I found some of the moves got too difficult as the class progressed. This was my first experience using any Pilates equipment (& there is a difference between the megaformer and reformer) and it was both challenging and enjoyable. Every instructor is different, and Blake was supportive as she was aware it was the my first - adjustments and notes on form were provided. Don’t be afraid to “jump”! WundaBar has 2 other locations, UES & Brooklyn Heights - plenty of space in this studio.

Overall, the space is beautiful and very spacious. There were times where I was a bit confused and had to look around the room to figure out what to do but overall the aesthetic was great along with the music. I will definitely be returning!!!

My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

Front desk staff was super nice and helpful, and even cheerful which was extra noticeable bc it was snowstorm and they were right by the door. The locker room lockers require a padlock but there are lockers right outside the locker room with keypad locks. Good array of equipment and everything was clean.
