About this studio

THE STUDIO Martial Arts & Fitness' motto is “strong bodies and clear minds.” Their goal is to help change lives for the better, both physically and mentally, through martial arts and fitness classes. When you attend a class at THE STUDIO, you’ll notice a difference right away. This is not a “gym,” where students are nameless faces in a crowd. Every student is important, and personal attention is provided to help each student achieve their individual goals and objectives. Classes are available for women, men, and children of all ages and fitness abilities. Come experience a positive, safe, healthy, and non-intimidating environment filled with camaraderie!

How to prepare

Students may need to bring supplies based on the particular class they are attending. In general, fitness classes are conducted barefoot on mats, but you are welcome to bring studio shoes (never worn outside). If coming to cardio kickboxing, bring your gloves. (Some loaner gloves are available, and they can also be purchased at the front desk.) They recommend you bring a towel for all classes, or you can purchase one at the front desk.

Katie was amazing! She is so friendly and welcoming. You could see the passion in dance. Defiantly coming back for her 3 hour class
Cardio Kickbox (ACKC)
It was my first time taking a class like this (usually I’m doing Pilates or yoga) so I was pretty intimidated. The staff was great though and it was simple enough for me to follow along, even though I probably looked ridiculous. I highly recommend checking it out!

Fun class, lots of energy, reasonably sized. 40 mins ended up not feeling quite hard enough for me (but I also need to work on my endurance so I can keep tempo up so maybe its me). Instructors awesome-great attitude, helpful to newbie, etc. Recommend you bring your own gloves if you have them- I borrowed some a little too big and ended up with a few raw knuckles.

Body Blast
For the last 3 years I have been a competitive weightlifter/crossfitter, and I have never been this sore in my whole life. I don't know what Katie did, but it is amazing. The workouts were very challenging, but you definitely felt like you could do them. Please try this class out. You won't be sorry!

What is ClassPass?
