About this studio

The Pure Barre technique is low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up! Please be aware that classes start on time and clients should arrive 15 minutes early. Doors will lock at the start of class - there's no late entry. Socks are required!

How to prepare

Wear socks that cover your feet and toes (no toe cut outs please). Socks help to keep your body warm and keep their studio hygienic. They have grippy socks for purchase at the studio, but you are welcome to wear your own. Many find that the "grippy" or "sticky" socks help them hold positions better and keep from slipping. Wear pants/leggings to the knee or longer. Bring water so you can stay hydrated throughout class!

How to get there

There are two designated spots (marked with a Pure Barre sign) directly behind the The Madison, the residential building they're in. They are first come, first served. For 6 am classes, all classes after 5:30 pm, as well as Sunday 4 pm class, you can park in the lot directly across the street. You will need to come in and get a parking pass and sign a parking waiver (only the first time) in order to park there. You will be towed if you park there without a parking pass.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
