Whether you’re looking for hip-hop, ballet, jazz or tap or want to try something less conventional like belly dance, African, Bollywood or striptease, there's a class for you. How to prepare

For dance fitness programs, dance sneakers, jazz shoes or supportive shoes are recommended. Ballet slippers, socks or bare feet are best for ballet, barre and contemporary classes. While most classes do not require equipment, mats are provided for classes in which there is a floor work component. Of course, you are also welcome to bring a mat of your own!

How to get there

Please check to confirm the address of your class! The map on the Class Pass & Mindbody apps shows the company's flagship Rittenhouse location (1624 South St), but they also hold classes in Midtown (1301 Locust St. 2nd Floor), South Philly (1170 S. Broad St.) and Fairmout (2511 W Girard Ave.). Find directions and more location info here: Please arrive at least five minutes before the class begins and check in with the instructor.

BollyX (1170 S. Broad St) with Teena
Great class
POUND Fitness (1624 South St) with Maureen
Good class to have fun and dance so you get to do a little bit of cardio but its not intense enough to burn a lot of calories or even tone muscle but it’s still fun though so good for people who are new to cardio and want to do an easy fun class
Barre Fit (1301 Locust St.) with Lee-Ann
great instuctor!
Zumba (1170 S. Broad St) with Rachel
Studio information is unclear and poorly marked. I was there and unable to enter, which was disappointing. Perhaps the class is good if you can get inside.
Barre Fit (1301 Locust St.) with Deborah
Workout was good, and the instructor was nice but she was a little all over the place. The exercises weren’t timed and the counts weren’t the same for each side. Also, this class had a dance based lean which I’m not really looking for or interested in. I felt the workout though!
Zumba (1170 S. Broad St) with Rachel
Needed more upbeat cardio steps!
Barre Fit (1301 Locust St.) with Deborah
Ballet focused and a good workout! Will make you sweat
Zumba (1170 S. Broad St) with Gloria
Gloria is a great teacher! Very clear and easy to follow and super cute. This is a great class for beginners or people looking for a lower key workout. Welcoming environment too. I’ll take this again almost as an active rest day for fun than a real heart pounder.
Zumba (1170 S. Broad St) with Rachel
Upbeat and fun! Good workout, even if I couldn’t follow all the moves ????
Cardio Pop (1624 South St) with Tiel
