As safe as it is challenging, Marathon Pilates Nashville delivers a unique blend of strength and flexibility, a resistance-based, low-impact, full-body workout that lengthens your muscles while it strengthens your core, propelling you to your personal best. Flowing from the center of the body, Pilates provides overall strength, along with a sense of calmness and internal focus. Utilizing Pilates apparatus (Cadillac Table, Chair, and Reformer) Marathon Pilates Nashville offers a variety of options, from group classes to private, as well as individually tailored Pilates sessions.

How to prepare

Pilates builds strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine. The Pilates Reformer is an exercise machine used to incorporate the Pilates exercise technique for a challenging and intense workout. Springs, leverage and body weight are used as resistance while performing movements targeting specific muscle groups. Using springs for resistance, there is no impact on joints making Reformer Pilates an option for everyone. *Please note class levels and prerequisites when booking classes

Marathon Pilates East Nashville is located in the heart of 5 Points, at 966 Main St. in Nashville, TN 37206. MP 12 South is located at 2907 12th Avenue S in historic 12 South. Free parking is offered at both locations in front of and behind the buildings.

All I can say is phenomenal!!! I feel challenged, but not overworked. Erin is such a great and knowledgeable instructor! She is very focused on whatching the correct positioning and she cames up with some unique exercises. Highly recommend this instructor!

Lindsey is just such a great instructor! She was very attentive to everyone’s needs, such as injuries, the correct form and the level of difficulty the class was able to do. This was a very well-balanced class and a great work out!
