As safe as it is challenging, Marathon Pilates Nashville delivers a unique blend of strength and flexibility, a resistance-based, low-impact, full-body workout that lengthens your muscles while it strengthens your core, propelling you to your personal best. Flowing from the center of the body, Pilates provides overall strength, along with a sense of calmness and internal focus. Utilizing Pilates apparatus (Cadillac Table, Chair, and Reformer) Marathon Pilates Nashville offers a variety of options, from group classes to private, as well as individually tailored Pilates sessions.

How to prepare

Pilates builds strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine. The Pilates Reformer is an exercise machine used to incorporate the Pilates exercise technique for a challenging and intense workout. Springs, leverage and body weight are used as resistance while performing movements targeting specific muscle groups. Using springs for resistance, there is no impact on joints making reformer Pilates an option for everyone.

How to get there

Located in the heart of beautiful 12 South, at the corner of 12th Avenue South and Kirkwood Avenue. Free parking in the lot out front as well as at Sevier park across the street.

Tamara is so kind and watches form closely. But it would have been great to have spring options; not everyone needs the same thing. If youre looking to move around, this is great and enjoyable, but it is not much of a workout.
