About this studio

getFIT615 aims to get people fit by providing an open and welcoming community. getFIT615 knows that the most effective way to stay "fit" is to do movement that you love with people that you love. All of the classes are high intensity interval classes and use a variety of equipment including kettlebells, TRX, medicine balls, rowing machines and of course, bodyweight.

How to prepare

Parking Details: If you're parking in the paid lot of this studio, press "Shakti" and enter code "2017" for $1/90 minutes. There is also local street and alley parking! **We know your time is valuable. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early on your first class to fill out a waiver and meet your instructor. Classes start on time and end on time.**

How to get there

getFIT615 is in the same building as the Shakti Power Yoga building on Music Row across from the Belmont Church. Look for the yellow walls and the bright green door.

Loved the workout and the instructor, liked the class too but the class was so quiet! Would love it if people encouraged each other/ talked a little more. Because Im new to strength training its really hard for me to remember all the exercises. Kasey was kind enough to show me a few of them when I asked her to remind me.

Riki was a great instructor, upbeat and encouraging and so helpful to this first-timer. I know Ill be sore for a while!

This instructor was not good. She didnt demonstrate any of the exercises, nor did she interact with us when we were working out to correct our form etc. Ive been to getFIT before and the other instructors are much much better. I will avoid the studio when she teaches.

Jillette was nice but she assumed that a lot of us knew the proper form for different exercises so that when she ran thru things in the beginning she would say everyone knows how to do X, right? One of the friends I was with is a beginner and felt uncomfortable speaking up to ask to go over form. Even as a more experienced person it would have been nice to review the proper form. I also would suggest a Tabata timer app so that the instructor can pay attention to helping peopl in the class instead of watching the clock every 10-20 seconds.

Barb is a really great instructor and one of the better ones at getFIT615. She gets right to the workout, transitions quickly, takes notice of everyone there and comments on form and is over all very motivating and clearly having fun which makes you more into the workout.
