About this studio

Freehouse Fitness Studio is a creator of new workouts and offers uniquely designed cardio + sculpting classes that will make you sweat, shake and smile. Featuring bungee bands, rebounders (trampolines) and reformers, they've got a variety of workouts that are crazy-effective and fun. Enjoy a well-rounded workout experience in a beautiful new studio space.

How to prepare

Grip socks are required for reformer classes (you can purchase a pair at the studio or bring your own) and band/rebounder classes are done in bare feet. They have lockers, cubbies, a water cooler and water bottles for purchase, and two (2) showers with toiletries and towel service for your convenience. You may also want to bring a small personal towel for sweat in their rebounding classes.

How to get there

The studio is located on South Street, between 14th (Broad) & 15th street. They are located at street level - you can't miss it!

Reformer Essentials with Te'yana
Te'yana is one of my favorite instructors ever - it doesn't matter what class she teaches! But this one is great - focuses on every muscle and she really encourages you to challenge yourself.
Triple Shot with Dana
Good for toning and strengthening - a tough class! Dana was great with verbal explanations and instructions but I felt I needed more physical adjustments as the class went on - it's a lot of core balance with many muscles involved and I wasn't sure I was always doing the exercises safely.

Glad you enjoyed the workout! As you mentioned I give a LOT of explanations about how to do each exercise correctly/safely and you see me walking around nonstop watching the room and helping clients one-on-one so when there is a safety concern I absolutely beeline over to the client and address it at least once. I also have to keep the workout moving for the benefit of the group, but please always see me after class if you want more assistance or physical adjustments that can't be given in a large class setting.

Got out of work early to get to this class and it was worth it! It was just as described and pretty challenging. Dana is very encouraging and helps you get through it though. Wish they had this one more often and later in the day!
