see all reviewsThe music was so good! (Lo-Fi playlist ofsome sort). I was still able to hear the instructor and the class wasn't completely full so it was very comfortable. Tania's voice was clear and her choice of moves flowed very well! Probably my favorite class at Pranify yet!

She gave many options that allowed me to pull back when I needed to without feeling judgement and try new challenging poses that I haven’t been offered before which was super fun! I loved the playlist and her queueing couldn’t have been better. You have to try a class with Morganne!

see all reviewsI’ve been taking classes instructed by Jeremy for the past year-and-half or so, including CHILL and FLOW sessions. I almost always visit the studio in a normal, stable mindset. For this particular CHILL class, I came in with a stretched-thin brain just seeking a little break from a heavy workload at my job. Historically, I always place a red card next to my mat to indicate hands-on assist consent per the studio’s policy, & Jeremy has rarely felt the need to give me hands-on assist- even in the faster-paced FLOW classes. I also typically don’t stay long after class for much chit-chat, so there hasn’t been that much small talk between us either. Only to inquire about the yoga playlists he uses. This time, he almost immediately sensed my frazzled state (I was likely super obvious anyhow), and was accommodating with guiding me to a sense of ease. Jeremy managed to help address my needs (in a CHILL session of all classes) without singling me out during the session. He was mindful about checking in with me in a subtle manner before I zipped out after class. I am so grateful for instructors this attentive. There are other yoga studios in closer proximity to where I live, but things like this are exactly why I always choose the Grinning Yogi over the rest in Capitol Hill. thank you, thank you, thank you!

see all reviewsTara is such a great instructor, and has the best music! Excellent cueing and she is so positive and energetic. Not for beginners though- I come to shred at least once or twice a week and it’s always a thorough full body workout. The only thing studio 3 could do better is a little more thorough cleaning and maintenance. Their water filter has the red light indicating the filter has to be changed and it’s been like that for like a year lol, and also the studios and locker room could use a deeper clean.

see all reviewsHonestly THE best class I’ve been to so far!!! And I’m saying this after attending solidcore, soulcycle etc. I felt so good after this workout. The only downside is the room got pretty hot at like 40mins mark so I almost felt dizzy and wanted to leave but thank god the instructor opened the door a little and I was fine after!! Would have given this class 10/10 if the class was 45mins long.

The only thing about the studio is when she is on the far side of the studio it can be hard to hear positioning, so my recommendation is to pick a spot toward the middle and you’ll have a great experience like I did.

He has such an amazing ability to create a dynamic, powerful flow that not only challenges you but keeps your energy up the entire time. While I wouldn’t recommend his class for a first timer, I do think his classes are great for beginners (who have their basics down) and experienced yogis alike. I would consider myself somewhat advanced, but his cues are always spot on and really improve my overall practice. If you have a chance to experience his teachings, you won’t be disappointed. Oh and his music has such a wild variety— I love it.
