What is there not to love about a spin class with Jenna Arndt? It’s like showing up to a warehouse party and then realizing you got con’ed into a going to a workout. Good energy, good vibes, good music, and great sweat. Just don’t expect to leave looking cute, which is also true leaving a warehouse party I suppose

I’m a trainer, and I found this class a really good check up for anyone on kettlebell form. Was worried it could be too introductory - and it was def not. Challenging in a good way - def more strength than cardio.

I always like crunch classes if you have a couple extra credits because the people are so nice and the atmosphere is casual. The instructor was really clear and easy to follow along with. This is a great low impact class if you’re in need of something lighter. A heads up, it’s only 30 minutes though if that matters to you.

    SHH!...Hard Knocks vs Zumba®

Loved this class. Teacher had great energy. The music was awesome. The choreography for both the dance and boxing portions were great. My only feedback is that I feel the instructor should give more equal attention to all students. I felt like he played favorites a bit when he gave feedback. But besides that, I had a blast and this is my favorite class!

    Hot Vinyasa

Always so amazing!! Q and Alena convinced me to try vinyasa and also traditional Hot - and I have to say - the combination of these two styles is making me better and better each week. I feel stronger in vinyasa because of my traditional hot practice. And I feel more flexible in traditional Hot because of the Vinyasa practice. The two are so complimentary. My once a week practice turned into twice a week and now three times! I can’t get enough!

As a first timer, I liked this class. It is hot, for sure, but it wasn’t unbearable for me. The focus is on being present and holding the sequence of postures despite the discomfort of the heat, so there’s a good amount of focus on balance and spatial awareness. Instructor gave good modifications and options for further challenge. The studio itself is just ok to be honest.

    Hatha Yoga

Im giving 5 stars because I love the idea of outdoor yoga in the park and want these folks to continue and thrive, but I do have some suggestions for improving the class. First, the teacher should have a sign or some kind of marker to help people locate the class amid the hundreds of people milling around the meeting place. And the class should remain at the meeting place until 5 min before class, rather than walking off at 15 min before class to a remote part of Sheeps Meadow. I arrived 12 min prior to class and couldnt find anyone until class actually started and I saw a distant group in downward dog. During class, the teacher was hard to hear and seemed self-conscious about raising her voice over the sounds of the park. During transitions, it would be helpful if the teacher announced the names of the poses first, so experienced yogis can keep to a smooth flow, rather than going into detailed positioning for each limb for beginners and only later stating warrior 2.

You get the best of both worlds w Shannon as an instructor: a good workout matched with deep relaxation!! I’m definitely able to hold my poses for longer since starting my yoga journey with her. You also will find a sense of community with this group bc everyone is open, fun, and can be silly :). I love that the classes are taught at different locations so that you get to explore the city (an amazing opportunity for me since I just moved here) but also you get to break up the routine/ do something different. I think this class is perfect for committed yogis and those who are just interested/ want to try it! 10/10 I 100% recommend these classes!!!!
