I love Ashley’s class and she might be my favorite y7teacher, with thoughtful sequences that aren’t as generic as other teachers and the perfect even teaching cadence and flow. But one questions for y7 - why no hooks in the changing rooms? There’s no place to hang your clothes or jacket as you change.

Ali is the best. I’m super disappointed in the new studio. It’s definitely feels like a downgrade. It’s super small and the layout is weird. You have to get there early or it’s hectic. I also hate that they only offer one hour classes. That being said, Ali is a magical teacher.

Loved the flows, Michelle has a chill but direct voice, music was good, and loved the thoughtful insights at the end. Not into standing poses - and the studio is darker (in other words- a liiiiitle too dark) than soho’s, so the studio only gets 4 stars. Sorry. Overall the best yoga studio in the city. IMO

Jen was amazing. I’ve taken a lot of yoga classes and she was funny, engaging, and flows made so much sense. The movements really connected to each other and we spent just a few minutes at the end of class focusing on headstands - so rare to actually learn how to do something more advanced rather than to just be told to do it if it’s in your practice already!

    Slow Flow

There was only a few of us in this class and Marcy made sure to provide a lot of attention. Even though it was a restorative class, I felt sore afterward and my problem areas felt the best they’ve been in a long time. The pace was great and I appreciated how she really took the time to explain different moves and the why behind them, as well as common mistakes (which wow I will adjust in my other classes now). Overall, a wonderful class. The only thing that wasn’t as great was her tone, but only sometimes- she came off as short and like she has little patience with some things.

    Figure 4 Barre (Open)

Not sure if this class was so challenging because I haven’t done barre in ages or if it’s just all around tough. It kicked my butt. (And this is coming from someone who does hardcore boxing and takes reformer/megaflrmer at BodyRok and Solidcore). The instructor’s personality annoyed me (can’t put my finger on why). But she was a phenomenal instructor. Highly recommend and will def be back. We did FULL body toning with a ton of focus on the thighs. The least amount of focus was on abs.IMPORTANT: there are no locks on the lockers. You have to bring your own. Makes no sense but whatever.
