Sam was great! She did a lot of core work which was definitely a wake up at 815AM but man, this class was fun. Didnt sweat as much as a typical Y7 Vinyasa, but the flows were all really connected and the transitions were totally amazing. Loved it!

I havent been to Tangerine in about a month and I was nervous to come back because of recent reviews about the studios cleanliness. But my experience couldnt have been better! The mats were very clean and already laid out for us, with plenty of room around each mat. The aromatherapy humidifiers were a nice touch. Ethan taught a great morning flow with plenty of adjustments. Great start to the day, will be back soon.

What a great way to start the week. I feel like my perspective has changed since taking this class. We held poses for 2 / 4 / 5 minutes. It seemed long since I typically dont hold stretches for that long but its a good way to get in tune with your body. Emmie was the nicest. Im going to come back and try the other classes.

5 stars for Amy shes amazing BUT THIS STUDIO oh my god. Its too small you guys need to move. Nothing more relaxing then starting a class with everyone yapping...when did y7 start making this acceptable? Ive been shushed before and now everyone just talks. Trying to exit the class to go back to my life is ridiculous. I IMMEDIATELY lose my relaxed state as I exit into the studio to a sea of girls who have no idea how to be human. You guys have 10 locations and 100 teachers you have money please move locations for flatiron.

Candlelit yoga in a blacked out room heated with vinyasa flow. Sweat Sesh. Kendra is a great instructor. Definitely need a little background in yoga as there are several "yogis choice secrions" which you might get lost in the sequence if you aren't familiar with it. Has a soul cycle studio feel. Malin and goets products, scented candles, branded Mitch. Only one shower which you can sign up on the list for before class. You can rent mats and yogi toe skidless towels. There is a water fountain.

    Some Like it Hot

Loved the class, but as an FYI Ive taken this instructor twice now in the 6:45am Wednesday morning class and I have found that its not as much pure flow as Im accustomed to in other classes, rather she has people do slow work on individual poses to build structure in a shorter flow sequence later. I find it to be harder in a way but I also can tell that its teaching me proper body positioning on poses I may have been doing wrong for a while. Lots of individual attention and adjustments even in pretty full classes which is great.

First time at this studio. Very nice and great teacher. Super normal, which is rare for yoga lol. Very non-judge mental and easy to follow. But she did not demonstrate in the front of the room, so basic knowledge of poses is recommended. Only negative was the ceiling fan was covered in black dust. It was super gross and distracting every time I had to look up.

    Power Yoga (int)

I loved this so much. I get the mixed reviews because it's a very specific type of yoga based on what yoga was like before the gym-ification of the practice. That said, just because it's not your style doesn't mean you need to give a 1 star rating. This class is Ashtanga based but is not for people looking to get a "60 minute workout." I liked that Carlos spent 2 hours on the class. If you know going into it that it will be long and challenging it makes for a better experience. This class is not for beginners. Not that you couldn't get something out of it with little experience but I think it could get frustrating because there are handstands and arm balances (although you're all at the wall in a circle, which is so nice because you use it for inversions and you can see everyone!) It is both mentally and physically challenging, you work with other students, and you come out calm and reinvigorated.

As a regular Tuesday night class goer, I have to say that this may have been the toughest class Ken has ever given us. Basic but hard as all hell. After the typical warmup in the studio then a farmers carry to Madison Ave plus a non stop 6 min ab series, the workout was 7 rounds of the following : 20 American KB swings, 15 air squats & 5 burpees before a sprint to Madison & back to be done as fast as possible. Most clocked in at ~2 mins so there was a minute rest before the next round. First time I've seen ppl splayed out all over the fitness floor once we finished.

    Forrest Yoga

Rachel is a very talented teacher. This class is not like a normal flow or hot class - in a good way. It goes through many different poses in a style that makes you think about their significance on how it impacts your body.

    Vinyasa Foundations

What I love about Nicole's class is that she explains the poses in details and the pace is slower so that the students can really focus on the right alignments, not just quickly flow through the sequences. Her sequences of poses are well thought out. Even though it is a foundation class, it is challenging because when you are really focusing on engaging the right muscles to achieve the right alignment make you work extra hard and sweat a lot! Nicole is also very friendly and making people new to yoga feel at ease and not intimidated. She goes around to correct forms and give modifications for people with injuries. A wonderful practice!

Surya Hot Flow - Level 1

Our instructor Megan was great, she took the time to correct my stance several times. Was concise and easy to follow. She also topped off the class with an adjustment and aromatherapy with tea tree oil. Playlist was a fun mix which helped to keep me engaged. The facilities need work, a lot of keys are missing on the lockers and the heat was disappointing. Temperature was turned on at 100 but it felt like 80 tops. I felt a strong draft from the window throughout the class.

This was a great class. Yes, there were only three of us there so it might not be this way with a bigger class, but the instructor was very attentive and provided adjustments. I definitely worked up a sweat but I think that a beginner would still feel welcomed going to this class.
