I liked Delen- he was tough but I like instructors that push you so if you are looking for a lot of you cant do it you wont get that here. He did come around and thank everyone individually at the end of class. The workout was hard and with more practice I think it will be more effective. For my first time I felt challenged for sure. The gym is not fancy if you are looking for that this is not the place for you. Definitely will be back

A legit boxing studio, no bells and whistles, just a straightforward kickass workout. Mike was great, gave personal attention to each student at various points throughout the class. Good music, loud when you need it most. A majority of the people in my class seemed somewhat new, which was fine with me. Will definitely be back!

So many reasons to love this studio: it is impeccably clean unlike most boxing studios. Its an all body workout and the bags are soft so you can kick hard without bruising shin. The instructor walks around and gives personal corrections.

First time here and think it is now my favorite of all boxing studios in NYC. At the beginning of the class, the instructor showed us how to do different boxing moves before we started on the bags, unlike other studios I have been to. We did 7 rounds, with a cardio break in between bag sessions. Was really tired by the end. No complaints whatsoever

Excellent coach. Ran a well-rounded, intense but manageable class, and gave patient and effective one-on-one instruction to students throughout. Im a lefty, and should fight southpaw, but rarely do bc boxing instructors always teach traditional style and its hard for me to adjust. But Willie took the time to give me specific southpaw instructions during the more detailed combinations. Also I got a better sweat than I have at a boxing class in a long time. The warm up, the core section, the boxing rounds, they were killer, in a room that I suspect was kept hot on purpose. Not a dry brow in the house! One minor somewhat related complaint. The studio gets a bit stinky of feet and other stuff. A little of the powerful air freshener I’ve noticed at other boutique gyms would go a long way here!

I thought this was going to be a class focused solely on boxing, but it ended up being a HIIT class, with some boxing on bags, and mitt work thrown in. The class was challenging and I enjoyed it regardless, but be aware you do not box for the full hour, nor even 50% of the class. Instructor was nice, and gloves are free to use.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and equipment at the gym. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. One thing, you will need to have your own wraps and gloves. You can purchase wraps there and they were kind enough to lend me gloves, but I don't know if that's typical. The trainer was excellent at walking around and giving detailed tips. If I had to complain about anything... he definitely didn't really push you much. However, I'm pretty out of shape so maybe he was just being kind!

    Boxing HIIT

This boxing class is very legit and a great bargain on ClassPass. I did notice John wrapped several student’s hands, which they don’t do at a lot of boxing places, so points for individualized attention. The space isn’t huge, but is perfectly sized to accommodate twelve people. I liked how he referred to the punches by number versus name. The only drawback was that there was no stretch at the conclusion of class. However, that’s easily remedied at home, or they have open floor space to stretch as well.

This class is a grueling, effective workout built on basics. I havent worked out hard in a long time and decided to take this class to challenge myself. And oh what a challenge it was. Lee is great. She gave me modifications for an injury and also for when things got tough. I would not necessarily recommend this class for beginners or for those who are out of shape. This class is an amazing find! Denise is a great MELT instructor—knowledgeable, thorough, caring. I have no idea how MELT works, but it’s an incredibly powerful tool for fixing body imbalances. Great class. Focuses entirely on kettle work with no cardio (which was a nice mix up). You go barefoot and do 30 seconds of something, 30 seconds rest, sometimes one minute on then one minute off. I liked the simplicity of the workout, which meant you could try heavier weights versus the boot camp style classes where you're just trying to catch up.

Love Shannyn's class. She an excellent and attentive teacher, and her classes are challenging - thus "advanced". I work with kettlebells pretty regularly and always find her class to be both helpful in my training and encouraging. Her playlists also are so flippin' good. Anthony's class was super tough as always! Class is divided into 1/3 bagwork (punch/throw combos), 1/3 strength (corework/stuff with weights), and 1/3 cardio (laps around the gym/burpees/etc.) This time we had to treat a medicine ball like it was our friend - we did jump squat throws, too many laps around the gym with it, etc. It's tough but doable for all levels. You can take breaks if you need to but he really does push you.
