Boxing Class
see all reviewsI love the mix of exercises in the class and how Morgan makes it non-intimidating regardless of your level. By far the best boxing class I have had in New York. You get to learn techniques unlike those fancy places that the instructor never checks your form. But you also get to punch the bag, which is something a generic gym just can’t offer. Recommend Morgan’s class for all the beginners like me.

see all reviewsThis is my new favorite class at HH! Shanna has great energy, a clear voice and love her combos. I especially love the new Yoga after kickboxing session, it really completes the workout with a much needed cool down and moves anyone at any level can do! I hope this will become a regular class offering!

see all reviewsComing to Greenpoint has been a life changer. All the coaches are excellent; they care about teaching and giving modified versions of the exercises to those who need them, like me. I never feel left behind, even though I started training a few weeks ago. Also, the rest of the class is very friendly and supportive, making me feel like I'm part of a real community. I will continue returning and strongly recommend this place to my friends and loved ones.

see all reviewsAmazing class and vibes at this studio. everyone was so friendly, from the instructors to the regulars who take the class. The studio itself is also gorgeous. The class started outside on the lovely rooftop deck and then we made our way inside to the big dance room - this room is seriously HUGE. The whole studio is deceptively enormous and full of natural light. The class itself was intense! I am writing this two days later with my legs feeling like they got hit by a car in a good way. We did a whole circuit of bodyweight exercises, and the instructors pushed us to do more reps than I could ever force myself to do on my own, so I definitely felt coached and pushed to the limit, which was great. Some of the regulars were even trying to convince me to join the gym directly after the class, singing its praises. Definitely will come back to try more classes!

see all reviewsIt was great to punch and kick the heavy bag after a long day. On these mats you can be the movie star ninja you secretly dreamt of. Or be your own hero, saving yourself from a long day from monsters aka toxic coworkers. While also learning an invaluable skill/craft that builds mental fortitude and physical agility. You can learn to move your mind and body in a different way. It’s very empowering. This is not a fancy gym, it’s standard with clean mats and heavy bags. Martial arts studios are not fancy, you’re here to learn and improve. If you’re shallow then this place is most likely not for you and you wouldn’t last. If you have the heart of a warrior, then come get it. “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” They teach this here.
