You have two sets of weights (one medium and one heavy) with the opportunity to play around and figure out if you need heavier weight. The class went by wicked fast and Abbie gave really great cues throughout. Definitely worth taking and will go again!

So many great things to say about her, first she is so motivating and always provides extra steps to take an exercise higher or pushes you to embrace the shakes & uncomfortableness! Always encouraging toes if you haven’t tried it. Her music selection was also fire, I haven’t heard rock played during a Solidcore class until today 🔥🔥🔥 Additionally I love the unique variations we completed, many exercises I haven’t done before and I’ve taken 10+ classes. Lots of core and upper body which are my favorite! Thank you! Will definitely book with her again!! ❤️❤️

see all reviewsGreat class, great coach. Brings vibrant energy and stays late to talk to those excited about solidcore (note: referring to another patron). Have two points of feedback: 1) Would prefer a bigger dog or, even better, a clamshell for metaphorical use during the bungee leg lifts. 2) Curious if penchant for camouflage leggings is derived from a secretive nature or if purely aesthetic. see all reviewsI love Abby’s cueing style & cadence— keeps the class engaging. I also really vibe with her chill house playlist— it gives just enough energy and relaxation which gives the boost to do the moves but also be steady whilst in the move. The only thing id say is when she counts and cues “holds” she’ll say, for example, “hold in 4..3..2..1.. mini pulses” which is confusing because I’m not sure if we are going to hold in 4 seconds as she’s counting down or if we are supposed to be holding while she’s counting down. So more clarity on that would be helpful. Additionally , when transitioning from legs to obliques, i wish we transitioned to the opposite oblique of the leg we had worked on instead of the same side oblique because it felt like my leg was too fatigued to be able to fully work the same side oblique. Other than that i really like Abby’s coaching style! One of my fav instructors at lagree!

see all reviewsIt was a very precise total body workout with a motivated instructor —but a little suffering was involved :). Expect a tough workout. It really was a very well-designed sequence of moves… but may be too challenging for some people. What would make it better would be offering some modifications, or vocally allowing people to remain in the earlier positions as the moves progressed, so that participants didn’t feel a shy to modify on their own without the official „permission” to do so. A few ppl needed to take a break and exit the class for a bit then return. One person left early, unsure if it was due to scheduling or discomfort with keeping up. I hope this review didn’t sound negative because it really is an excellent class with a great instructor. Just a heads up that you have to already be decently strong to keep up and if you aren’t there yet it may be discouraging. I will definitely take the class again but it kicked my butt and I may need to build up to following along with everything, by modifying the workouts a little for myself

Amazing teachers, bumping community, prime location right at the intersection of Logan Square and Avondale, and great sequences. At the end of class he invited us to join the next class and even helped instruct us in some additional moves to work on to improve balance and stability.
