All of her classes provide a balance between focusing on speed and resistance and she incorporates minimal “choreography” which I appreciate as it can be very distracting from proper form and performance.

see all reviewsGreat class with Meredith. Lagree is really hard. I find that I still get a really good workout even if I modify and take breaks. The staff is always welcoming. The space is nice. Plenty of room between the equipment, good music (not too loud) and lots of encouragement to get through every move. Be ready for lots of plank work. If you like working with slider discs, you’ll love how the reformer equipment here will give you stability and resistance to work the whole body.

see all reviewsLove this class, love the instructor. I appreciate that she tells you what specific exercises are coming up in the next set so that you can plan ahead and grab the appropriate set of weights, while most instructors say a vague “grab a medium to heavy dumbbell.” That small heads up saves me every time from having to change weights mid exercise.

see all reviewsI don’t usually take classes at solidcore since i do Pilates so infrequently and find the instructors hard to follow (so fast paced, no way to ask questions) but this instructor was hands down the best I’ve taken and will definitely come back for another class. The class was fast paced, but he did an amazing job at catering to and encouraging beginners without letting you feel lost in the class. He was awesome!

But I felt like the other class members were very advanced so it was appropriate- just would have been really challenging for a new member to the SC family. Loved Alex’s music and he was very welcoming and friendly.

see all reviewsI signed up for this class on a whim a year ago and I have been back almost every week since. Casey is hands down the best yoga teacher around! This class encapsulates what I love about yoga, it’s challenging, energizing, while the simultaneous focus on breath and “feel good” movement keeps me sweating and working hard without over extending myself. The studio itself is a little cloying in its confusing cultural appropriation vibes (Why are there pictures of Bob Marley and African statutes everywhere?) — but despite that it’s a beautiful, light filled studio! Truthfully, other classes I’ve taken here are not quite as good as this one - I do wish they offered this Vinyasa class more than just once a week at the WP location!
