Great class with Meredith. Lagree is really hard. I find that I still get a really good workout even if I modify and take breaks. The staff is always welcoming. The space is nice. Plenty of room between the equipment, good music (not too loud) and lots of encouragement to get through every move. Be ready for lots of plank work. If you like working with slider discs, you’ll love how the reformer equipment here will give you stability and resistance to work the whole body.

Love this class, love the instructor. I appreciate that she tells you what specific exercises are coming up in the next set so that you can plan ahead and grab the appropriate set of weights, while most instructors say a vague “grab a medium to heavy dumbbell.” That small heads up saves me every time from having to change weights mid exercise.

    Hot Vinyasa 60

I signed up for this class on a whim a year ago and I have been back almost every week since. Casey is hands down the best yoga teacher around! This class encapsulates what I love about yoga, it’s challenging, energizing, while the simultaneous focus on breath and “feel good” movement keeps me sweating and working hard without over extending myself. The studio itself is a little cloying in its confusing cultural appropriation vibes (Why are there pictures of Bob Marley and African statutes everywhere?) — but despite that it’s a beautiful, light filled studio! Truthfully, other classes I’ve taken here are not quite as good as this one - I do wish they offered this Vinyasa class more than just once a week at the WP location!

    Vinyasa

The studio is small and intimate and the class was accessible to all levels, but with a strong focus on alignment and technique lots of thoughtful adjustments. Ive been to 2 classes at Hilltop and both times found that they have you hold poses longer than Im used to, which made it feel surprisingly challenging despite the poses themselves being relatively basic. Im pregnant and Hilaire was very comfortable offering me modifications and recommendations without seeming anxious or changing the focus of the class (as has happened to me at other studios).

Everyone (including the owner who personally introduced herself) was super friendly, the gym was clean and spacious, and the challenging (in the best way) workout was taught by a motivating and helpful instructor!! 5s all around!
