How to prepare

*Wear comfortable workout clothes & appropriate athletic cross-training shoes (our barre, pilates & yoga classes do not require shoes). If you are taking a cycling class, our bikes accept shoes with SPD clips. *Bring a water bottle & a towel–everything else is provided! If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, be sure to bring a required physician release before your first class so you can participate. *PSF classes are challenging because they work! Be prepared for a fast-paced sweat session! *Childcare when available is additional cost

How to get there

All Power Sculpt Fitness studio classes are held at 3119 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago 60657. If you are attending an indoor cycling class, please enter at our Power Cycle entrance located at 3120 N. Greenview. Metered and side street parking is typically available and our studio is accessible via several CTA options.

Usually love the workouts at power sculpt but this one just felt annoying. Everything was so fast that I never felt like I was working any muscles and I left class barely breaking a sweat. Im usually drenched in sweat after classes here. Wont be taking this one again.

The workout was great, but the pace of the instruction was break neck. Also the remixed music was entirely too fast and hectic.

I first came to Powersculpt 3+ years ago, but havent really been back since. I underestimated back then how much of a positive impact their classes had on my ability to step up my fitness endurance (in a short period of time!). Laura is a great instructor and never stops moving around the room to make sure everyones form is correct. Youre free to make modifications to suit your fitness level, and in fact I recommend you do in order to prevent yourself from any potential injury. The crowd doesnt come off (to me at least) as the friendliest, but I dont typically go to gyms or fitness classes to make friends. I go to put in work, and move on with my day (and it seems like most of the patrons I encounter at PS are there to do the same). Overall, youll leave feeling like your time was well spent. If you really want to make a commitment to a healthier more empowered version of yourself, committing to a few (for me it was as little as 2 or 3) classes a week at PS will get you there.

What is ClassPass?
