    POWER CYCLE

    I just had my first class woth Griselda today! This was probably the best cycling class I’ve taken so far. I think I say that with every cycling class and instructor I take at Bodyrok, but it’s true! My experience gets better EVERY. TIME. As soon as I walked in, Griselda was instantly at my side, talking to me, and I felt so special! LOL She didn’t even ask me what I needed she just KNEW, adjusted my shoes while having conversation without me even asking, fixed my seat and handlebar and it was THE MOST COMFORTABLE ride I’ve ever had like everything was perfect, the seat didn’t hurt like it usually does and it made performing the choreography super achievable, especially when keeping up with the RPMS. As soon as I looked around and found my seat, I could tell what kind of teacher Griselda was, everyone genuinely seemed so excited and comfortable to be there, and throughout class, she made sure that we were all aware of our fellow riders and that this wasn’t just an entirely individual experience, but rather, a collective and supportive experience that everyone relied on the other for, for support. She made everything so clear to follow and patiently guided us through the class but definitely knew when to push us to step out of our comfort zones. This was such an AMAZING environment to be in!     Kathy is really attentive to her students. You are welcome to wear pointe shoes for all her classes and she will provide the necessary corrections. Although it’s a dubbed a beginner’s class, this is not for someone who is a true beginner to ballet, most students in the class has at least a couple to a few years of experience.

    Shoulder Mobility and Flexibility

    Mackenzie was so great. She was very thorough with the instructions and demos. With my recent injury, she provided modifications throughout it the class for me and continually checked in. The classes at the circus center all seem to be fairly small, which makes it super easy to get feedback. Learned some good cues and exercises for increasing my mobility. Would recommend!
