It was a little difficult to hear the Christina’s directions over the music for most of the 1st half of the class, but I was able to follow what ppl who were clearly regulars were doing. Sometimes I was stating late though because I had to watch first as it was my first time. I think mics for instructors who want the music to really pump people up would be really helpful, it was a great playlist.

It felt slightly challenging, but not impossible. I definitely would come back again to hone my posture. Karen also does hands on correction; at the beginning of class you can opt out of it too! It was my first reformer Pilates class and I didn’t quite understand how to set up my station at the beginning and the instructor told me to stop and she’d finish it up for me - wish she’d said if it’s your first time I’ll come around and set the chair and mat up for you at the beginning as she was repeating the setup.

Warm ups are offered on your own and you can add whatever else you need. You may need explanations from the teacher for each one. The actual workout itself is done together with the class and involves a combo of strength and some cardio work. There is no class cool down but you can stay longer to stretch on your own.
