About this studio

InHabit Pilates and Movement is a fully equipped Pilates and movement studio that specializes in small group mat, special mobility and equipment classes. It was created as a place for people to enjoy exercise and re-educate their body in habits of strength and grace. With students returning year after year, they have seen the wonderful benefits of long term practice come to life. Inhabit is a studio with friendly students and teachers, and is a welcoming community in which to deepen or grow your exercise practice. INHABIT HAS: the full range of pilates apparatus mat class area to serve 12, equipment class for 5 at a time a treatment room for rental a wide and varied class schedule to meet many needs and goals welcoming, “down to earth” approach

How to prepare

For your first class, please arrive 10 minutes early to have a chance to get familiar with the space and for us to get familiar with you! To prepare, you may bring pre-filled intake and waiver forms (which can be found on the right hand side of our home page at inhabitpilates.com) or fill it out here. Please alert your teacher to any health concerns. Mats and equipment are provided and we kindly ask that you restrain from using your cell phone during classes. And well, just bring whatever you've got today and hopefully we'll work it through!

How to get there

Inhabit Pilates is located at 1211 Bathurst Street, Toronto. Please enter from the side door on north face of building. The TTC #7 bus stops at the Bridgman exit. If you are coming to a 9:30 am Mat Class park on DUPONT or BATHURST ST. south of Dupont, for metered parking and walk in. Or in the LOT on Bridgman ($10). If you are coming to a 12 noon class, park on the above, and also DAVENPORT (metered parking). Evening/Weekend classes you can access any of the side streets, or park in the lots for free.

Very low key. Focused on stability, which is what I needed. But slooowww. I'll stick with yoga

Thank you for the feedback! We'll definitely pass it on to Milena so that she could adjust the level of intensity for the class. Generally, all classes have slightly different focus and level, so we hope you'll check out a few more before forming a final opinion. We often hear that every instructor is unique and different people find different things in each class for them. Enjoy the research!
Preventative Strength: Level 1-2 with Sarah
This ended up being a stretch class (apparently its a stretch class every last Tuesday of the month FYI). Sarah was very attentive to all of the participants involved and showed some unique stretches.

What is ClassPass?
