Body Barre Fitness offers an innovative and balanced approach to group fitness classes for women in a private studio setting. Barre is the latest fitness craze hitting the globe; this fusion of fitness is a dance-inspired class with a blend of fitness modalities such as Pilates, strength training, yoga and sports conditioning. These challenging one-hour classes effectively strengthen, tone and lengthen the entire body. At Body Barre Fitness you'll get an upbeat, high energy workout suited for all levels of fitness!

How to prepare

Barre is done bare foot. For fitness classes, bring sneakers. Please bring a towel and water to class.

On The Mat Pilates
I wouldn’t call this Pilates, it was hardly different from their barre class. We spent maybe 5 mins on the mat, I was expecting an hour long mat Pilates class not a barre class. I would’ve signed up for barre if that’s what I wanted to do. I have injuries so Pilates was really all I wanted to do as it is recommended by my chiropractor for my recovery. I think the barre classes are good here but when I sign up for a Pilates class that’s what I expect to get when I show up for it.

It's a great class with a nice routine, not too hard for beginners. It would be better if there was a bigger space, as I kept hitting my classmate : ) but was definitely a great workout and I felt fully stretched at the end!

Amazing class! It combines yoga, weights, ballet barre and basic Pilates and was set to upbeat music. I wasn't quite able to keep up on the first go but it wasn't so difficult to be discouraging either. I will definitely go back to the studio and maybe even try some of their other classes.
