The lights were dimmed most of the time so it felt nice to take his encouragement to go at my own pace, because I was the only new one and it felt daunting at first. The space is nice and motivating too. Mike’s playlist was also pretty great. I would say the only complaint I have is that the seat was very uncomfortable. As soon as I sat down on it, it felt like it was piercing through my bones. The cycling shoes were also uncomfortable for me, as my feet felt sleepy the entire time and the soles of my feet hurt.

The class was intense but as a beginner, you definitely can go at your own pace. The crew here are also extremely friendly and helpful and they’ll even help you get set up on the bike before class starts. Such a fun experience!

The music was on point, he guided us perfectly through the workout and he didn’t scream into the microphone the whole time like a lot of cycle instructors do. I will definitely be attending his class every time I visit New York moving forward!

The one thing that is a serious safety hazard is that a lot of new people do their boxers sit-ups far outside of their circle, and they run the risk of getting hurt by the people around them. It also risks hurting those of us who are inside the circle. There should be an announcement made in the beginning of class that this is where you should be seated for these. I almost hurt someone just because she was almost a full foot above her designated space. I hope this is fixed soon because this has been pretty consistent over the last few months but wasn’t a problem before.
