Loved this class! I’ve done a few classes at jaybird and Joshua is by far my favourite instructor. Class is basically hot Pilates, medium difficulty. Joshua has such a great mix of movements and good pace to never be bored. He provides challenging movements but always allow for mortifications. Overall great class, one of the best Pilates classes I’ve done in Toronto so far.

IN STUDIO 50min Pilates Reformer Instruction (Intermediate)

The semi private class with Chelsea was great! I am a novice at Pilates but have experience with other fitness activities. The class was doable for a beginner like myself that is reasonably fit and flexible, but still challenging at some points. Chelsea adapted the difficulty based on the overall experience of the members in the class, which I liked. I would recommend the instructed class for novices or even intermediates because Chelsea will correct your form which is helpful in the long run. One note I will make about the studio itself is that it is different from other studios I have been to. There is no front desk and therefore no one staffed if you try to call them. I was told to email them if you have any questions.

It was ok but it wasn’t really cardio. Mostly regular Pilates with a few minutes of jumping. No knocks against the class just letting people know it’s not too much of a cardio workout. probably good if you are looking for more of a regular Pilates class with some a little bit of cardio. I wore my chest strap heart rate monitor and I was only out of zone 1 for 1 minute and 34 seconds. Average heart rate was 81 bpm.
