Holly comes around and may fix your position sometimes or give you a gentle rub. I swear her aura is so strong cause every time she would touch me I would get tingles and feel so relaxed hahaha. Robert was great but he talks really fast so it was hard for me to understand what he was saying sometimes 😂 the flooring at the studio is wood as well and doesn’t have any extra padding so it was harder on my wrists. I wasn’t able to do some moves I usually can do because I couldn’t hold myself up on my wrists. It also said on here that they don’t provide mats, blocks, or straps but I did see some there that looked like they were able to be used, so maybe if you just ask they’ll let you borrow! The parking is either on the street or a garage so it’s good to show up a bit early in case you don’t get a street spot and have to walk from the garage. Overall was a good workout, but I think I prefer Samatone yoga nearby. It’s a better experience and cheaper on classpass.

I took intro based off how hard I heard solid core is and I’m glad I did! just the intro class had me dying 😭 I can tell I’m gonna be very sore tomorrow so I’m trying to get in some protein haha. My arms are shaking just holding my phone typing this. We worked arms, core, lower body, everything haha. This class is good if you’ve never done solid core cause they explain the machine, the movements you do on it, the movement names etc. you also get to have breaks since this is a slower paced class compared to a regular one that doesn’t have breaks. The coach made it look so easy when she was showing us the movements we were gonna do, but in reality she is just really strong 😭😂 she wasn’t shaking and was so stable while demonstrating and talking at the same time, but don’t let it deceive you. Solid core is definitelyy not for the weak. I may take this class a few more times before I take a regular paced class.

Kerri asked if I’ve done reformer Pilates before and although I have, she gave me a run down of their equipment to make sure I was familiar with their setup. She was an amazing instructor and very clear with her instructions. 90% of the time when I’m at a new studio, I’m looking around at other people to see if I’m doing something right, but I didn’t do that here. She also gave lots of cues to make sure we were breathing correctly and in the right position. Very good class for beginners as she gave ample modifications for everyone!
