Mariel is a great teacher who created a community-like feel to the class. The class was a good mix of movement and workshop moments... I left having learned something which is one of the most important takeaways from an advanced class... I recommend this if you are looking for a casual and conversational experience in a slower paced format ample with inspiration and learning opportunities. If you’re looking for a physically demanding flow experience or to refine your postures anatomically this may not be the class for you.

Chalise is easygoing. Low pressure. Not a whole lot of extraneous chatter. She is more a walk around the room kind of instructor than a front of the room instructor which is great for me as that gives a more go at your own pace feel. If you are brand new to yoga, just let her know and I’m sure she will demonstrate the poses. Some people may complain it’s not hot enough but it was to me. Was sweating buckets and felt so good after. Chalise was the perfect combination of instruction and inspiration and serenity so you can hear yourself think...or not think.
