This instructor had the utmost amazing energy that really will keep you motivated throughout class. The playlist selection only elevated these already good vibes. This was one of the most amazing classes I’ve been to and I would go to any location just for this instructor and the playlists curated by them! If you’re a first-timer or in the beginning of getting into cycling I think this instructor would be such a great way to start because he had such radiating energy and a motivational spirit that was just right (not too low but not too cheesy either). So much fun and I can’t wait to go back again!

One of the best Barry’s classes I’ve taken! They welcome first timers with open arms and do a great job of demonstrating floor exercises. I’m not a runner and it was refreshing to not feel pressured to run fast! I love this studio location and the locker room is so clean and well organized. Great class, Pamela really care about form and being present, her voice is also soothing and relaxing. Loved this format as it was different than other yoga classes and also great as a stretch and reset type of class. Tara is truly one of the best instructors in nyc. I’ve been taking class with her since she was at another studio that closed pre covid and she’s still so great at her job. The AC worked great in this class, and I loved the mirrors on the ceiling but they are so trippy and tbh don’t add much to the workout not guna lie. There are almost 30 reformers in this studio which is huge- almost 3x the size of every other studio. I can see that being an issue for other instructors but not Tara. She somehow had eyes everywhere on everyone. Would go back.

Ok so I’m giving it a bunch of stars, because I know what it’s like to be a brand new instructor. This modality specifically is probably exhausting, so I consider this very deeply. It takes a minute to develop certain skills, and that can’t happen overnight. I will say, I think they should note if it’s a BRAND new instructor to make us all aware. The mic volume was SUPER high and she was already talking pretty loud. Lol. Her rhythm was tough to get behind and her cues were a slightly late or too fast and made class generally harder to follow. Because this modality is so technical, I’m gunna need to trust the person that’s coaching me, and that felt hard to do in this class. Felt like she was going through the motions and saying some of the things she needed to say, but I’m not entirely sure it was genuinely connecting for her as the instructor. Again lots of grace given, she seemed super new, and like a sweet girl.

This was the emptiest F45 class I’ve been in. I thought I would not like it because of that. That it would not be challenging. I was so very wrong. Fewer people meant the coach got to focus on all of us individually and challenge each of us more. F45 is still my favorite place. 37th St -New Client Orientation Class $20

If you’re new to Pilates, this is a must try!! The class was amazing, the instructor was very nice and so considerate, she instantly remembered all of our names and gave individual corrections and tips. We were only four girls and it felt like a safe space for beginners. I will certainly be back, thank you!

BEGINNER POLE TECHNIQUE (Tricks & Climbs)

Salma is def the sweetest person for beginner class. She made me feel so confident and feel good even I am insecure about moves. And all girls in the dance studio are nice and welcoming. Recommend 10/10

    INTRO TO SILK

Summer’s instruction is so clear and concrete. I had a very low expectation of this class due to my own clumsiness and ended up learning a lot!
