Reid was cool. Very helpful! the space was small and very stuffy when I came in. I often had to apologize for accidentally touching someone next to me because of how cramped it was when the class was full. Reid said that he was a sub for Madeline. Stacey is amazing! Her vibe is so calming and soothing and makes you feel right at home. It was my first time there, and she immediately catered towards me and gave me an extra bolster during class for my comfort, which I really appreciate. The sound healing exercise we did towards the middle-end of the class really helped my vibrations. This type of yoga is perfect if you’re looking to disengage and enter a more meditative, relaxed state of mind. I felt so relaxed coming out of the class, ready to step out into the world to deal with whatever challenges me next. Her dog is cute, too, he joined us for yoga today 😉

It was a different experience for me! I’ve never taken jiu jitsu before or any martial arts class before. The space is small but has enough space for floor work. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The instructor was really informative and walked me through everything. Even the partner I ended up working with was teaching me and explaining the floor work and terms. I recommend not having any jewelry on when coming in such as a septum, and any nose or ear piercing jewelry in. I was told because it was a safety hazard for me which makes complete sense but I couldn’t remove my nose piercings there. I ended up having to watch them do some floor work instead of participating because of it. Next time I will come prepared!
