    HIGH 45

Jess class was perfect. She's a little thing that was weaving and bobbing throughout the treadmills the entire class! Her music was on point and her cueing/instructions were perfectly clear and tailored to the class. Will definitely be back. I haven't been back since the last Jess left. Looks like I found a replacement! I also love Yusuf but his time slots never work with my schedule.

    Switch Playground Class

The music at Switch was amazing. The theme was hip hop some from my college days ca. 2009 which was a good musical era. Jeff was cool, walking around and challenging us continuously. Other coaches were there to tell you what to do at your station. The locker rooms were also lovely with at least 5 showers, filtered water fountains and great shower products.

    Switch Playground Class

This might be the most entertaining class in NYC and perfect if you have workout ADD since its about 20 different stations for two minutes each. The trainers do a great job demonstrating the moves and keeping things moving. Youll sometimes lose a few seconds waiting for a demo but to avoid this, it helps to look at the station right after hours while you are at your own station so that you can anticipate whats next.

All trainers at the Fhitting Room give detailed explanation and demonstration on all the exercises and having two trainers in each class they really walk around and correct forms. My fav studio.

    BFX Burn

Nice large clean studio. Now called NYSC with BFX and Cyc within it. 2nd desk for BFX check-in. There is also a gym downstairs with minimal equipment. There are nice locker room amenities with showers dryers towels water fountain. The burn class is set up like HIIT/Tabata. Not too much advice on weight selection other than a heavy and medium kettle bell and dumbbell (nice ones covered with rubber). Room is set up with a small mat and gliders for each person. There are several sets of timed jumping jacks/ mountain climbers / burpees/ etc with weight lifting mixed in. Good workout. Not the hardest if you are familiar with this type of work out. Probably hard but doable for a beginner. Lots of modifications offered for less athletic people / as you get tired.

Definitely a lot more intimate than the regular class, as in the instructor got to know everyone by name but just as challenging and fun. What I love about Fhitting room is the individualized attention, form correction, and the encouragement from the instructors. They dont just tell you to do something and leave you hanging. I feel like I learned things in here that I can take away to my own workouts. Bonus: Richs playlist is fire!!! It definitely helped me get through my last set of intervals.

About an hour of solid, pure weight lifting with active recovery exercises ONLY. And as someone who is moderately active, it kicked my @ss. Radan pushes you to lift heavier and go stronger until you fatigue. NOBODY in my class was cruising. Facilities are sparse, but nice. Could use some products in the bathroom. Omg I loved this profile tonight! One of the best in months due to its variety of movements, timing breakdown + longevity: 4 stations, 3 moves at each done AMRAP style for 4 mins, :30 rest, then 3 mins :30 rest, then a 2 min sprint of the cardio move (run, row, bike, prison step ups). We covered sumo DL, goblet squats, burpees, box jumps, chest press, v ups, push-ups, plate GTO, overhead plate lunges + jump switch lunges. Only slight caveat is that I wish more upper body work was covered to hit the back, but otherwise, this was put together incredibly well.

Really great class! Pilates is always a toss up for me bc I have a spinal fusion and I have some limitation in what I can do, but I was able to talk to the instructor before class and she was super helpful and helped make suggestions for modifications. Other instructors I've had in the past at other studios only focused on my limitations which really sucked, but Jenni was very accommodating and I got a great workout too! Highly recommend!

Great vibe here, I like the low lights and loud music. It is a little warm in the studio so dress accordingly. If youre new its better to get a machine in the middle so you can see other people and the instructor hangs there the most. Its a little hard to understand some of the moves if you havent been but before class the teacher demonstrated some (so go early and watch!). They dont use the traditional Lagree names so I was a little lost at times but I think the more you go the more you will catch on. Teacher was full of energy and excitement- you can tell he is passionate about his work there. Highly recommend Jacob!

Incredible experience - the best infrared sauna I’ve been to in the city including those specialty spas. Highly rec going at an off time (ie not after a scheduled class), in the hopes of getting the room to yourself. You get assigned 1 of the 8 spots - can’t imagine being in there with a full room though. It’s hot from the start + you will be dripping within a few mins. It’s kind of torturous for 40 Mins, but something you know is doing the body good. They let you use the locker room + showers too. Great place + super helpful staff!!!

    Power 45

Best barre class I've ever taken. Tony's got great energy and very good at explaining things like "try to take the bounce out of the ball" so I know how to adjust and stabilize my core even more. We only worked with 2 and 3 lb weights but my body was screaming in pain- good pain cause I knew each movement was forcing me to work hard for it. Explanations always help me to understand movements better and I appreciate that he took the time to do this with every move. Thanks! I'll def be back :)

    LOWER BODY (PUSH/SQUATS) STRENGTH CAMP

Solid class. If I had to explain the format, I would say it was a fusion of Tone House and a personal training session with some crossfit elements to it. Definitely different than any class Ive taken with CP. Jay was subbing I believe and she played all hip hop which I prefer when training. Only con was there was no ab work (I thought they mentioned ab work comes with every class) but honestly I didn't think about that until I was home. She really kicked our butts. Awesome workout, as usual! Kayley's an amazing instructor--welcoming, motivating, accessible, and always ready with expert technique corrections and insightful recommendations for modifications. Her class is a perfect exercise lab for refining form to build the kind of synergetic muscles that prevent injury and improve long-term fitness. I'm definitely stronger and leaner because of it.

Lee was amazing and so attentive. Knew everyone's name and it really, really makes a difference when the instructor gives you individual attention and encouragement. Class was challenging as always and energy was up. Love everyone at TS, you can't go wrong.

Love this class. It changes up every week so you never got bored and constantly challenge yourself. Instructor explains everything and goes around to correct form. I'm sore at the end of every class and feel accomplished!

Love this studio and coach Bakes so much. Always an amazing workout leaving me sore the next day. Coach is extremely encouraging and friendly. Class is full of different cardio and strength training circuits (1 min at each station) making the class fly by. Bring your own towel and water though, no fountain or waiting area at this studio.

Great workout made even more challenging by compressing it into 25 minutes, which meant muscle-burning, back-to-back sets. As a bonus, it was fun working out with a former elite football player. Rob gave the class awesome energy and a nice sense of humor.
