I’m not a runner and it was refreshing to not feel pressured to run fast! I love this studio location and the locker room is so clean and well organized. They have hair ties, deodorants, Ouai products, towels for showering and working out, theraguns, Dyson hairdryer and a smoothie bar you can order from that’ll be ready post class!

I usually do Ride x Lift, so this was my first Run x Lift which I was initially intimidated by, but she led the class so gracefully and offered perfect guidance. Definitely coming back!!

There was no pushing yourself to go beyond your limits, and she even said something about how everyone’s body is different. I might actually start going regularly to her class. I definitely also recommend if you’re new to Barry’s or exercise in general because there are so many options! Can’t believe it took me this long to take her Alycia’s class!

The studio has an unusual layout, it was my first time and had to ask a couple times to understand where things were (changing rooms, the actual studio etc.) would recommend they give a more thorough overview of the studio layout/amenities for first timers.

In a class with two instructors I didn’t see either of them give a single correction or note to a full class of people. F45 is like the Cava of workout classes. It’s solid and reliable but also uninspiring and somewhat bland. It basically feels like doing a workout video in a class environment.

If managment reads the comments can I suggest a sticky mat at the door so people who don’t change shoes can’t at least get some sidewalk / subway / bathroom filth off their shoes since many exercises require us on our forearms and hands.
