see all reviewsSESSION is my all-time favorite workout on ClassPass. If you like structured strength circuits with small bursts of cardio, then this is the class for you. They start the class with a very intentional 3-minute dynamic workout designed to prep exactly the muscles you’ll use later in the workout, then pause briefly for a thorough explainer of every circuit. The strength exercises are strategically designed for anyone, beginner or bodybuilder, so you can add weight, incline further, or progressively overload. It’s such a friendly environment (dogs welcome at both locations!!) and the focus on weight lifting is chef’s kiss.

However, once the exercises were explained and I was able to see them, everything came together. The space was clean, modifications were available for every exercise, and there was enough equipment and weight options for everyone.

see all reviewsExcellent class! After sitting at a desk all day in front of a computer it felt wonderful to move! Movement is medicine. I got a great sweat, physically and mentally! I used to have a hard time walking up the stairs due to injuries and the lack of physical movement during the height of the pandemic, which exasperated my tight/strained muscles. I was in pain everyday for several weeks to months and unfortunately, workouts at other fitness studios just made it worse. When the city started to open up, I found Presher! The coaches here remind you to slow down instead of rushing for reps. It’s great you can bang out many reps using heavy weights but it’s not great when the form is ugly - you’ll feel super ugly when your body is in pain from an injury. Classes at Presher have been effective for me and driven great results! I was also mentally and physically fatigue but during and after class I felt revitalized. Yippie!!

Expect an intense and borderline soul sucking strength training class with plenty of timed lifting intervals used for a variety of lower and upper body moves such as racked squats, lunges, deadlifts, swings, sumos, gorilla rows, push presses, renegade rows, high pulls & plank work. He also tends to toss in a conditioning section with plyometric work, plus an AMRAP, then finishing with core. Please have both lifting and KB knowledge before coming because this is absolutely not a beginner class. You will sweat buckets, get breathless, work all of the muscle groups to fatigue, and you’ll be toasted by the end of the hour. I never miss a Wednesday!

see all reviewsI really enjoyed the time spent here on Sunday morning. It's getting more difficult to find studios that offer this style practice with the traditional 26 poses. It was an intimate setting with about 5 or 6 of us taking the class. Great feedback on alignment and thoughtful advice on how to achieve specific poses. My only wish was that the room was hotter rather than warm, but other than that I will return!

see all reviewsThe meat of Daniella’s class was really, really great. I would prefer a much shorter intro before class and no debrief after class. I found the intro to be repetitive and intense (I don’t need to hear a sample scream and I think she could demonstrate the concepts while teaching in the actual class instead of teaching techniques before getting started. In a yoga class poses are taught in real time not at the beginning to prep, and I’d like to see that approach here as I see in other meditation and breath work classes). The intro took at least 4x too long and unfortunately the debrief after class took me from being relaxed to being a bit more stressed again hearing about her love of breath work and listening to others’ experiences and debating with myself whether or not to share about my (truly wonderful) experience. Overall I highly recommend but I think there is room for improvement <3
