    Love this gym. The space is not only big, it's wide, so it's easy to space out, find a spot somewhere to workout where you're not seen or in someone else's space the entire time, and just feel secluded. In a good way. The lights are dim and calming, in my opinion. I prefer this gym over Union St. or Chestnut, which are smaller and everyone can watch you workout. I'm usually in and out of those locations, while this one makes you feel comfortable to stay a while.

    Too hot and stuffy in the room. Not "heated" but doesn't feel like there is a/c either. It feels close to 80-85 degrees in the room. It's hard to go all out with the cardio and heavy weights due to the temperature. I otherwise thought the instructor was good. Workout was tough and effective.

    Tony is a fantastic instructor who has a surgeon-like precise attention to form. Even in a class with many students, he makes many individual adjustments. As other have noted, his style of teaching is a unique counterpoint to the typical hippie-dippy "find your center" and "loving kindness" approach to yoga. There is a place for both, but if you want to emphasize improving your physical capabilities, Tony's class has a lot to offer.

    A fun, non-threatening feel good spin class. Instructor played mostly pop and r&b songs and we mostly cycled to the beat with some changes in speed and resistance along the way. There was a bit of choreography and and we spent a good part of the class out of the saddle. The instructor was friendly and upbeat. Spin room was really clean and had fun mood lighting.     I had been to this studio under previous ownership and I don't care for the front section of the space so I was relieved this class was in the larger back area of the studio. The person at the front desk was welcoming, Denis immediately introduced himself, and another instructor who was using the space before we got started also introduced himself. The 2 dogs milling around the studio didn't seem to care about me one way or another but I tried not to take it personally. ;) Denis was a great instructor. He knew everyone's name, gave consistent positive feedback, and helped everyone with their form. It was a challenging class but I left feeling accomplished because of the positive environment.

    Took the strengthening class with Christina. It was easy to check in, just fill out a quick document. Christina was great and the class felt very welcoming. It was an intimate class with about 6 others, but it was nice since the instructor was able to give ample feedback on all of our forms. The studio seems to be geared towards women but anyone is welcome to join of course. I wish I had gotten a sweat in. I felt like it wasn’t very challenging but heard the cross fit classes on Tuesdays are much sweatier so I’d be looking to try that next time.
