Lane Bryant, the trendy plus-sized clothing store, has received lots of attention on social media – for all great reasons! They recently launched a campaign called #ThisBody (with an epic fall 2016 lineup that featured Gabourey Sidibe, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine, and Danielle Brooks as models) and their new activewear line advertisement features a diverse set of bodies that is a game-changer in the body-positive movement.
The ad, featuring body positive yogi Jessamyn Stanley, triathlete Krista Henderson, choreographer Jessie Diaz and basketball player and model Julie Henderson highlights four very different body types – all part of plus-size fashion.

#Love. It’s significance is simple: all body types should always be included and represented in their advertising efforts. Recently, Lane Bryant has been asked quite a lot via social media to be more inclusive of the range of body types that shop at their store, and this is the type of advertising that we have all been waiting for.
