    This class was a true and good full body strength workout. Abbie was amazing and super motivating throughout the class. You have two sets of weights (one medium and one heavy) with the opportunity to play around and figure out if you need heavier weight. The class went by wicked fast and Abbie gave really great cues throughout. Definitely worth taking and will go again!

    One of the best sculpt classes I have ever had. This class is challenging but the saving grace is that Veronica is so adorable, and so so funny that you walked away absolutely high! I almost wish I weren’t leaving this review but how can I not share the 8th wonder of the world? That would be selfish. The studio itself, Kinship, is absolutely stunning. The high ceilings in the yoga room, the beautiful bricks, the teachers, the cold plunge, the sauna, the showers, the garden, the astounding staff, the myriad of amazing workshops, the generosity behind it all~ providing water, tea, etc (free of charge unlike many other studios). This is by far the best studio in Los Angeles (I was born here and have been to many).

    I love Abby’s cueing style & cadence— keeps the class engaging. I also really vibe with her chill house playlist— it gives just enough energy and relaxation which gives the boost to do the moves but also be steady whilst in the move. The only thing id say is when she counts and cues “holds” she’ll say, for example, “hold in 4..3..2..1.. mini pulses” which is confusing because I’m not sure if we are going to hold in 4 seconds as she’s counting down or if we are supposed to be holding while she’s counting down. So more clarity on that would be helpful. Additionally , when transitioning from legs to obliques, i wish we transitioned to the opposite oblique of the leg we had worked on instead of the same side oblique because it felt like my leg was too fatigued to be able to fully work the same side oblique. Other than that i really like Abby’s coaching style! One of my fav instructors at lagree!

I recently took a class here, and I was blown away by the perfect balance of spin cycling, HIIT with battle ropes and kettlebells, and a calming yoga session to wrap it all up. Her kindness and encouragement helped me push through and really enjoy the workout. The classmates were super friendly and created such a positive environment, which made the experience even better. I also loved how easy it was to dial up or down the intensity for each part of the workout. This made it accessible for everyone, regardless of fitness level, so no one was left behind. The studio is clean, well-organized, and has a great vibe, with upbeat music and a friendly community atmosphere.     Wow, this was like my 6th or 7th flow at Black Swan and one of my favorites. Hailey is SO talented at instructing. She talks through easy movements but demonstrates more complex ones. I’m intermediate in yoga but have never had someone actually teach how to use blocks. She incorporated blocks for a LOT of the flows and it was so freaking amazing I’m literally still in shock from how good the flow was and how much I learned. This was probably the most I’ve ever sweat during a flow!! I will for sure try to do more classes with her. I brought a friend, whose first time it was, and she freaking loved it so much too — she said she felt like it healed her knees and it was so restorative. Thank you so much Hailey, you are made for this!!

    LOVED the Bongo Belmont Yoga class with Rachel on Friday; can’t wait to go back! The location is inside Bongo Java upstairs in a carpeted room with cute string lights.     Full Body METCON

    Great instructor and great workout! Michael gave me multiple modifications for a knee injury I am dealing with and continued to check in throughout class to make sure I was feeling ok. He also demoed everything not just at the start of class, but again before we started each station when groups were switching places. This was super helpful especially for these types of classes when there’s so many exercises to remember. I’ll definitely be back to take his class again!!
