see all reviewsGreat class and instructor. You can really tell Jes knows her stuff when it comes to Pilates. She also made the class accessible for all levels. I appreciated that. I also appreciated that she had the nerve to turn away a student who was like 10 minutes late. DC tends to accommodate these late lulu girls busting in the class with their Stanleys clanking. It’s disrespectful to the teacher and the other students to allow this. Glad to know basic decorum is observed here.

see all reviewsCha cha is quite literally my favorite teacher ever! Her class is the highlight of my week. As a complete beginner, some of the moves were challenging to follow along with at first, but the class structure makes them very learnable with repetition and the atmosphere is complete nonjudgmental. I love Chacha’s messaging about mindfulness and mental health- I always walk out of her class feeling more light and energized than I was going in.

I am a beginner to Pilates and Shoshanna made sure to break everything down to me prior to class so I was ready. I was using muscles that I’ve never used before so it hurt in all the best ways. I would definitely return for another class.

see all reviewsthis class was a lot of fun. The playlist was so important and so motivated. The only recommendation I would have for them is to have floor mats because stretching without them is kind of hard on my knees. Also people were walking around in those same spots, so it would be more sanitary as well.

see all reviewsA wonderfully grounding practice. We started a little late because the class before ran over and the students stood around talking. A lot of frenetic energy but Jenny was so kind in graciously asking the chatty Kathys to move along. After the room cooled down and the practice began it was amazing. I’d never tried Reiki and the combination of it with a restorative practice was just perfect in this winter season. 💙🧘🏼♂️

The meditation and soundbath were very relaxing. Only annoying thing was that the previous instructor left their phone connected to Bluetooth and we could hear her typing and sending texts over the speakers for quite a while. Pretty distracting when I’m consciously trying to relax and want to disconnect from technology and notifications.

see all reviewsSarah was a really sweet instructor and the vibes in the class were amazing! only critique is that you can't really follow along movements because she's instructing more so than demonstrating. As a foundational class the movements are what you expect when you think of yoga, and I think it's very accessible and many people will catch on quite quickly. People are regulars in that class so hop in early and don't be afraid to laugh or breathe deeply during the movements. what an engaging class, I'll be back!

see all reviewsThe instructor is great, however she does need to cue to the breath, especially in the beginning of the class. She was sequencing the class from the start too fast, it was cue’d faster than breath to movement. If she wants to cur this quickly I recommend starting the class speaking to the breath and getting to one breath to movement. She lost half of the class from the start and then we caught up. This is consistent with this instructor.
