    REFORMER FLOW

Bianca’s class will be what keeps me in shape! She is so welcoming and her class felt like a safe space. Music was bumping. While transitions are with ease, she challenges you every second which is so encouraging. Her attention to the body and proper form is what I look for in an instructor. If you want to feel your muscles working for 60 minutes straight.. book her class ASAP!!

    The Stride - Reformer

Class and teacher were good. Studio needs to enforce latecomer policy. Making the entire class wait for three people (all first timers who required an orientation) is not acceptable. It is disruptive to the class and hard on the teacher. All other students were on time and this negatively impacts their schedule, for example childcare, transit and plans post class. The latecomer and cancellation policy is clear and should be enforced.

I don’t know why there are even any negative comments about the reformer class. I loved the class with Erin and she has such clear instructions. The pace is a little different from places like Lagree but I find the targeting of the muscles- especially the intrinsic ones was amazing here. It was as though Erin had eavesdropped into my physiotherapist’s recommendations. Thanks for a wonderful class. Will be back

    Restorative Reformer

Restorative Reformer class with Nina was the best first time experience for a workout in any studio I've tried. Beginners would enjoy Nina's restorative class to get to know and be comfortable with the machine. The receptionist was sweet and patiently showed me their space, she also informed the instructor it was my first reformer class. They made sure to show me the adjustments I would need to change on the machine before class started. Body Harmonics felt closer to a physio clinic rather than a boutique type studio.

Naira was very patient. I happen to be the only one in the class today so it becomes a private class. She pointed out and corrected details I should watch out as a beginner, and reminds me to breathe in and breathe out. The class is very suitable for begginers, who are not sure whether the gestures are right or wrong. Recommend!

It was my first time trying and the instructor made my feel welcomed, safe and comfortable. I did reversed table top and inversion for the first time ever (with some help) which was so exciting and encouraging! The classroom and the gym in general is clean, spacious and filled with natural lights, unlike most other gyms I’ve visited. If I didn’t have a gym membership already I’d sign up right away.

CP Cardio Sculpt 1.5 (50 Mins)

It was ok but it wasn’t really cardio. Mostly regular Pilates with a few minutes of jumping. No knocks against the class just letting people know it’s not too much of a cardio workout. probably good if you are looking for more of a regular Pilates class with some a little bit of cardio. I wore my chest strap heart rate monitor and I was only out of zone 1 for 1 minute and 34 seconds. Average heart rate was 81 bpm.

    Slow Flow

The atmosphere of the studio and the deck is amazing. Unfortunately, you can’t really hear the instructor very well, especially at the back. The class is advertised as all-level slower pace, but it was pretty fast and challenging for a beginner with not a lot of suggestions for modification. Would be more suitable for intermediate level and up.

I go to mat pilates regularly but this was my first reformer pilates class, I really liked it and will be back to this studio! Totally doable as a newby with pilates experience but I recommend taking an intro class or at least familiarizing yourself with the machine with a few YouTube videos so you know what you're looking at and can follow instructions easily.
