Last class with Parnia before she heads back to LA. I’m so happy with all the progress I made in her classes. They’re the most challenging mat pilates class here imo, and you definitely feel the burn and get your money’s worth. With consistency, I’ve gotten better but I still feel sore the next day. Parnia is also so sweet and encouraging towards all her students. All the best to her in her future endeavours. We love you so much and we will miss you, Parnia! 🩷

    PILATES BURN

Best Pilates class and instructor in the city. This is a great workout, whether you do it alone or as a compliment to strength training. The instructor does a great job of providing a challenging workout that still pulls from the basic principles of Pilates. The class is accessible, powerful and fun. I find most of the Pilates classes in Toronto to be either too dull or too trendy. This is neither of those. I hope to see her teach more often at PF.

Not a review but observation… other patrons should think of others before they wear their shoes up the stairs and into the locker room. If you don’t leave them downstairs at least take them off. So glad I was able to make it into this class last minute. I typically find the Stride classes better workouts bc of the cardio, but Brianna unlocked the secret to the Sets format IMO with the slow, intentional movements. This might have been my fav class taken in the Sun Room at Solis! I loved Sara’s energy, playlist, and chitchats throughout class (asking about our plans for the weekend, TV series watched, etc…it helped time to pass and keep me distracted). The workout was solid and I was sooooooo sweaty. Would have loved it if she’d opened the door partway through just for a wee bit of fresh air. I found the music a bit too loud but unlike some of the other instructors, I could still hear Sara’s cues and voice well enough to follow along. I love her classes so much and wish there was more of it. I do also wish that the girl in the class who was on her phone the entire time at least had enough common sense and courtesy to put her phone on silence so anytime she got a text the whole back of the class wasn’t alerted. The studio should crack down harder on those who don’t silence their phones.

    CORE x BURN (Studio)

Small class which was nice, so it felt like you got more attention from the instructor. She was great with mods and correcting form! The workout itself was great too because Allie incorporated a couple different exercises you don’t usually do in a workout class, instead of the same typical movements. Space also felt very inclusive! :)
