Pedal shines so brightly for so many different reasons and provides an exceptional spinning experience. From the very first day, the studio's welcoming atmosphere has made me feel at home. The staff all greet every visitor with warm smiles and genuine interest, artlessly creating a sense of community that is both motivating and encouragement. The instructors are not only knowledgeable and professional but also approachable and inclusive, making each session one designed for every level of ability and familiarity. The front-of-house staff are all inviting, happy to see you, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facilities at both studio locations are top-notch. The bikes are new, well-maintained, and equipped with features that personalize your workout experience. The studios are impeccably clean. The lighting and sound system are well synchronized to create a dynamic and immersive environment. Pedal offers dry towels, cold towels after a ride, and a well-developed and easy to use app. Additionally, for those who need them Pedal goes above and beyond to make available clip shoes to borrow, deodorant, hair ties, post-workout supplements, feminine products, and ear plugs. Not only that, this studio rises above anytime they shower their riders and members with sporadic appreciation throughout the year (most recently, donuts and valentines to write for Valentine’s day, bouquet arranging for women’s day). Even the selection of merch is thoughtfully curated and chosen with intentional partnerships. One of the aspects I love most about this studio is the variety of spin classes offered. Themed rides and special events keep the routine exciting and fresh, ensuring that there is never a dull moment. Not only is there variety amongst spin coaches and classes, Pedal offers stretch and strength classes also, both to augment your progress on the bike as well as to provide the opportunity to balance cardio with strength training and agility. Really, the instructors are the heart and soul of this spin studio. Their energy, passion, and expertise are truly inspiring, and every one of them is rooting for you. They offer personalized guidance and adjustments, catering to individual fitness levels and goals. The studio embraces the philosophy that every body is different and each person will ride differently, honoring where your body is at, listening to what your body needs, and finding growth at the edge of your own capability. It is difficult to strike the balance between promoting the philosophy of honoring individual ability at any level and riding inclusively as a team but Pedal has done it perfectly. I’ve never felt pushed to do something that doesn’t feel right, while also feeling coached into participating in as much of the class as I feel challenged to complete. Every playlist is carefully curated to keep the energy high, and the motivational cues of each instructor push you to achieve your best with every pedal stroke. Each instructor has their own vibe and strength. In addition to being the hardest working bomb bosslady, everyone’s hype woman, culture cultivator, and the kindest friendly authentic and welcoming person ever, Brooke’s classes are the perfect place to always find a challenge. The BPMs on her sprints are no joke- and she can do them! She makes a point to remember everyone’s name and foster inclusivity in each of her classes. Nancy is perfect for first timers, as she firmly lays out clear class structure, is consistent and clear with her instructions and fun expectations and develops an exciting class design and atmosphere that supports and accepts joy in riding at any level. She isn’t afraid to make fun of herself and can handle curveballs in class like a pro. Hope is down to earth, self-assured, and a beast on the bike, performing every class exactly as cued- a fantastic lead. Syd is a beat master, crafting challenging classes and braiding together playlists on the fly like a pro DJ. Dorian never lets your forget your form with your core and never disappoints with his playlists. Amanda puts so much heart into her classes, and they completely pop off. Dion has the most amazing energy, and I leave each class I’ve had with him feeling celebrated (whether he is teaching or not!). I always go back to Maren’s class for her delightfully fun and delightfully elaborate choreo that she somehow makes feel easy just because she understands the learning structure of how your brain adapts to something new. Kaitlin’s confidence and enthusiasm is infectious and inspiring. I can claim only a handful of classes across the rest of the instructors, but I can say that they all support each other and attend the classes of the other instructors- if I have not taken a class with them I have ridden alongside them! I love how this promotes the studio’s sense of community- that everyone is on the same team and rooting each other on, whether they are leading the class or participating. The camaraderie built through repeatedly sharing classes and consistently showing up at the same place and time to join the same team ride is incredibly valuable. Throughout the year the studio puts on different elective challenges. The studio also offers support beyond the bike, with physical training, mobility workshops, youth camps, and social events that foster a sense of community and family. Pedal Spin Studios has provided consistent workouts and a positive environment, which has been clutch to feeling committed and motivated. I feel independent in setting my own goals and supported through them whether or not I express them simply by the air of community Pedal creates. The studio offers a perfect blend of top-notch facilities, exceptional instructors, a variety of classes, and a supportive community. I cannot say enough to recommend dropping in for a class-or 100 classes!

    First time at South Pas Fitness! The gym is a bit hard to find at first, especially if you’re not familiar with the area, but other than that this gym is 10/10. The staff / manager are very kind and accommodating to help you find it over the phone, direct you to the parking lot, helpful upon check-in, etc. The atmosphere of this gym is AMAZING. The architecture is so different and beautiful. It welcomes & radiates positive energy. Layla was my class instructor and she was very sweet and helpful with demonstrating every pose to the class. 10/10 instructor! The class was a little tough for me personally but a really, really good workout. Side note; this gym also has a very calm / mellow workspace area, sauna, cafe with great menu, & boxing area, which I think are great bonuses. Highly recommended this place.
