    Pure Power

A strong vinyasa practise, very warm and sweaty for a cold day. Class best suited to those have practised before Brad didn’t use music which I really loved, the whole class was using breath to move in unison. Great class, couldn’t recommend more. #ClassPassInsider

    Othership Breathwork

Othership Breathwork with Renelyn Quinicot was a really new and interesting class for me and I'm glad I went. It's different from a silent meditation and requires a lot of dynamic breath work exercises so if you're curious to expand on meditation I'd give this a try. I also liked the live instruments; using sound and vibrations helped me stay grounded in the experience. Lastly, the community part of the class was lovely. Renelyn encouraged us to speak with someone in the studio for a few minutes and making that brief connection was surprisingly refreshing and enjoyable. My only critique is that the sounds was a bit loud for me. It looks like they'll be rotating different instructors as part of a partnership with Othership. Mats, towels and eye covers are provided. The heat is turned off in the studio for this but is still quite warm. I recommend bringing layers and a bottle of water. In terms of the actual space, Jaybird is beautiful, clean and has all standard amenities: Lockers, individual change rooms, shower rooms and washrooms. The receptionist was helpful and they sell merchandise on the side. I would come back to check out other classes. A note on mobility: The studio is up stairs and I don't think there's an elevator. Take off your shoes before entering.

I was sceptical to go because I dont consider myself a yoga person and Ive felt bored in yoga classes before but this was a lovely class and a lovely instructor. I would definitely go back. This was a nice, gentle full body stretch.

Scotty was filling in for someone this Saturday class. As always Scotty was super charismatic and delightful. He always walks around to double check everyone’s form. The classes are quite full which is normal in the winter months. Lots of laughter and sweat which is what I want in a Pilates class.

Core Flow (yoga + pilates) PARK

Great class! Challenging but very enjoyable! If you like very quiet tranquil yoga.. I wouldn’t recommend it though. There’s quite a bit of hustle and bustle going on around you so if enjoy a city soundtrack and you’re used to the noises then I highly recommend! We had an amazing dance troop practicing beside us which I absolutely loved and the skate park is beside which is awesome too! Not for everyone though so just a heads up! Emily did a fantastic job of teaching and correcting while practicing social distancing!

This was a kick ass class. Challenging in a very good way. Will come back. This is located in the space above Lululemon. The lavender infused cold towel at the end of class was a really nice touch.
